Shaun Gladwell: The Lacrima Chair & Collection+: Shaun Gladwell

Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation presents two Shaun Gladwell projects: a major new commission at SCAF, The Lacrima Chair, and Collection+: Shaun Gladwell at UNSW Galleries. Collection+: Pinaree Sanpitak

Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation presents works by acclaimed Thai artist Pinaree Sanpitak, curated by Jasmin Stephens. Tear-a-Way: an interactive fashion presentation

Designed and developed by University of Technology Sydney (UTS) fashion students in collaboration with Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation and proudly sponsored and supported by PRéMA Hair, Tear-a-Way explores the exciting and complex field of contemporary fashion. The live presentation will show the creative and innovative responses to the five Tokyo brands and re-imagines them in the context of past, present and possible fashion futures.

Paris-based curator and art critic Pascal Beausse presented an image-based talk focusing on two major exhibitions he recently curated; Número tres, Barcelona, 2012 and Savoir c’est pouvoir / Conocimiento es poder / Knowledge is Power, Madrid, 2013. Both exhibitions drew from the collection of the Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP). Pascal is currently the Head of Photographic Collections at the Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP) in Paris.
