Join us for artists and author talks plus free creative workshops for kids on selected Saturday afternoons. Suitable for children 5-12 years and their families.

William Yang is an Australian-Chinese artist who is well known for the photographs he takes himself, his family and friends. He is also a great storyteller. In Australia Now the artists invites children to tell their own stories and draw a self-portrait.

Arlene TextaQueen,
 Unseen Superheroes of the Working World

Are you a young unseen superhero? Arlene TextaQueen invites young visitors to create their very own mini-deck of snap cards using colourful felt-tip markers before playing a game or two with friends and family at the gallery or home.

Anna Fienberg and Kim Gamble, author and illustrator of the ever-popular Tashi series, will whisk you into a magical world of daring adventures as they read and draw from the Tashi tales.

Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan, 
In-Flight (Project: Another Country)
Bookings not required

Alfredo and Isabel make art using everyday materials and objects based around home, family and journeys. The artists will work with children to transform found and recycled materials to create a huge installation of planes!
