Join artist Yang Zhichao, curator Dr Claire Roberts, and the SCAF team to celebrate this monumental installation.
Professor Geremie R. Barmé, Director, Australian Centre on China in the World, Australian National University (ANU), College of Asia and the Pacific, will officially launch Chinese Bible at 5 pm.
Chinese Bible appears as part of Go East, a project across two sites: the Art Gallery of New South Wales (AGNSW) features over 30 works from The Gene & Brian Sherman Contemporary Asian Art Collection including Jitish Kallat’s Public Notice 2 (2007), and SCAF features Yang Zhichao’s Chinese Bible (2009).
