Join artist Shaun Gladwell for a discussion on Semiotext(e) – as object and concept – and his new work Self Portrait as a Semiotext(e) Foreign Agent, featured in the major new commission The Lacrima Chair.
‘Patafunctions’ is a self portrait in the form of a text book from the Foreign Agents Series, replicating the famous cultural theory and philosophy series from publisher Semiotext(e). These publications have exerted a major influence on my art practice. – Shaun Gladwell
