Sydney Story Factory (SSF) is a Redfern-based not-for-profit creative writing centre for young people. Their trained volunteer tutors offer free writing assistance to upper-primary and high-school aged students. These programmes develop students’ use of expressive language and improve their ability to communicate with the aim of increasing enthusiasm for writing and boosting confidence. SSF programmes are designed to nurture and foster creative thinking in a fun environment, open new paths and encourage students to find their own voice.
*Please note that due to high demand these workshop places are non-transferable. Refunds will be given if cancellations are made 48 hours before the event. Cancellations made thereafter are non-refundable.
All children must be accompanied by a supervising parent or guardian at all times.
